Introducing Morocco

Morocco is a vast country, extending from its Mediterranean shores in the north to the desert wonderland of the Sahara in the south. Spend an afternoon sipping tea on a Marrakech rooftop, take a camel ride through the desert, or hike in the snow-topped High Atlas mountains; whatever you choose, you'll love experiencing everything Morocco has to offer.

Where should I go in Morocco?
From the hustle and bustle of Marrakech and Fes to photogenic Chefchaouen and the dunes of the Sahara Desert, Morocco has an incredibly diverse blend of geography, climate, and culture. Each region has its own unique array of activities for travelers to choose from, as well as specific weather patterns to be aware of. Learn more

When is the best time to visit?
Morocco is a year-round destination, though each of its regions has an ideal time to go. Tangier in northern Morocco, for example, has a pleasant Mediterranean climate year-round, while travelers interested in experiencing the Sahara will want to stick to a trip in Spring or Fall to avoid extreme temperatures. Learn more

Things to Do in Morocco

Morocco is full of opportunities for both adventure and relaxation. Take a kitesurfing lesson on the Atlantic Coast, go mountain biking in the High Atlas mountains, or spend a day shopping for rugs and antiques in the fantastic markets of Marrakech. Learn more

How many days do I need in Morocco?
7-10 days is a solid amount of time to explore Morocco's and Imperial cities at a moderate pace. With 2 weeks you can spend time hiking in the Atlas Mountains or explore the coast. With under 1 week, it's best to focus your time: explore Casablanca, Chefchaouen, and Fes in the north, or discover Berber traditions in Marrakech & the Sahara desert. Learn more

Getting around Morocco
Private driver-guides are the best way to travel around Morocco, offering travelers both flexibility and peace of mind. Trains and buses connect the larger cities such as Casablanca, Fes, and Marrakech, while the desert area, Atlas mountains, and coastal towns are best accessed as part of a private tour or day trips. Amazing authentic Moroccan Riad in the Blue city. Loved every minute from the delicious dinner in the dining area and the over the top multi course breakfast to the beautiful views from the rooftop. Our room was somewhat quirky but 100% Moroccan. The hamman experience was the best scrubbing I’ve ever had in my life including a very thorough hair wash also. We then enjoyed our own private time in the tranquil indoor pool. I felt sorry for the poor luggage guys who had to transfer our bags from the lowest levels of the town to the upper reaches of 2nd floor room- could t have done it without them !!

We have just finished an amazing 10 day trip to Morocco. From the start, Hamza helped us plan the most perfect itinerary. He was very responsive to all of our questions and did a fantastic job tapering and planning the trip to meet our needs. It was our guide, Tarik, that made the trip memorable and unique. He anticipated our every need and his upbeat personality and fantastic laugh made each part of this adventure so much fun. Not only is he well versed in his country’s history and culture, he was incredibly resourceful in pointing out all of the small and wonderful places to stop, and making my group of 4, part of these experiences. He also provided practical advice with tips for safety and the understanding of local customs, both insightful and respectful of Moroccan culture. We felt like we were always in good hands, Tarik was always on time, flexible to our needs and kept us comfortable. We benefitted from the addition of Hamza, a guide in training, who brought his personal energy and kindness to our group. He was also special and will be a great future guide for your company. In the end, these two wonderful guides felt more like friends who were an integral part of our group, seamlessly integrating themselves into our travel experience of this enchanting country and enriching it beyond my expectations. Thank you, Tarik and Hamza for fostering the trip of a lifetime! It would not have been the same experience without them and their wealth of knowledge and wonderful personalities!
